L'avion cité en objet est tombé à Courgent petite commune des Yvelines en France, le 08 juillet 1944. Une stèle a été érigée à l'endroit précis de la chute. Les 7 aviateurs reposent dans le carré militaire de Courgent, et cette année 2004 la municipalité va commémorer le 60e anniversaire de cette page d'histoire. Nous avons bien retrouvé les noms et fonctions des membres de l'équipage, mais nous recherchons les photographies de chaque aviateurs qui a donné sa vie pour notre libération. Toquote what happened, an object (probably a Lancaster) fell to the small Courgent commune of the Yvelines in France, July 08 1944. A stèle was erected to the precise place of the fall. The 7 airmen rest in the military square of Courgent, and this year 2004 the municipality will commemorate the 60th birthday of this history page.
