Whilst on holiday in France and Belgium we saw many military cemeteries and memorials to the brave men who fought in the two wars. They're all beautifully maintained and treated with the utmost respect. I hope it's some comfort to the families and friends of L. Landridge and W.J. Lemin to know that there's a special memorial to them.

To the Heroes of the RAAF who have fallen for our liberation.

The two small copper plates on the struts carry the names of the two men to whom this memorial is placed.

There is a story attached to this photo. When the photo was emailed to me I then checked into the records of both L. Landridge (Pilot) and W.J. Lemin (Gunner) and found the records to be totally inaccurate. With a bit more searching I have now corrected the records.
