5.10.44 on the op to Wilhelmshaven in DV373 2 engines failed. The A/C failed to reach sufficient height to jettison the bombs and would not maintain height. They were forced to ditch in the sea. At 4pm on 6.10.44 a life boat was dropped to them by a Warwick A/C, they were rescued by a air sea rescue boat 5pm 7.10.44. |

On their 4th op to Harburg near Hamburg, the crew are listed missing. All the RAAF members listed KIA, we have no listing on the RAF members. |
