12/13.6.43 John Everard Binnie in an attack on Bochum was twice attacked
by a night fighter. By outstanding crew work they were able to beat it
off, the rear turret was damaged beyond use the fuselage and starboard
wing were damaged and F/S Binnie decided to carry on and bomb the target,
they returned and landed with a flat tyre at Bottesford.
The KIA’s are confirmed but no record of the others, yet.
