F/L Scott and crew were an early crew on 463 Sq and it was not usual to list the postings in to the Sq in Orbs, so no date is listed and we assume they arrived in February. |

Their tour started normally till the 11/12.4.44 ops to Aachen. They returned with the P/O engine Damaged and feathered. |

|
10/11.5.44. On the op to Lille they were lost in HK535 JO.N on their 20th op. This op proved to be the worst op of the war for 463/467 SQ they lost 7 A/C from 31 dispatched. 1 A/C carried 8 men which was 50 men lost out of 218 dispatched or more than 20% of the men lost. |
