F/O Chris Peart and crew had several frights during their tour of 33 ops.

1.1.45. On the op to Ladbergen in the early morning they were hit by heavy flak before reaching the target, but carried on and bombed the target and returned on 3 engines.

7/8.2.45. On the op to Dortmund Ems in NN721 JO.T they were attacked by a JU 88 fighter. The gunners opened fire at the same time as the fighter and shot it down in flames.
