F/L Lincoln and crew had their share of problems and by the listing in Orbs on 10.5.45 when they were posted to 4 Hallifax A/C they had the biggest problem of all.

13/14.2.45. On the op to Dresden they had to return early, the rear gunner was so ill it was necessary to return and take him to hospital, Orbs do not list his return to the Sq.

24.2.45. On the op to Ladbergen the Starboard outer engine seized and they had to return as the A/C would not maintain speed to keep up with the force.
