W/C Langlois P. was posted to 463 for his 2nd tour 11.8.44 and was commander B Flight

On his second op with 463 he led a daylight raid on Gilze Rijen which was a German night fighter base in Belguim, He flew LL844 JO.R. Nobby Blundell’s well known "Ginger Meggs". On this op 15.8.44 a bomb dropped from a A/C well above them sheered the rear turret and P Hamilton clean off the A/C. Eric Langlois regained control of the A/C and returned to base.

F/O Ellis then joined, the crew until they were posted to 467 Sq 14.10.44.
