The other members of the crew flew with W/C Donaldson to Prouville 24/25.6.44 and they were also shot down. Some evaded capture and returned to Waddington but Cyrl Small was severely wounded and captured by the Germans. He was hospitalise for some time and eventually repatriated through the Swiss Red cross. |
