Pictures and Scans

Many photographs of the Squadrons have been scanned from the Squadron's Scrap Book, emailed in by iterested readers, and posted to us as hard copy will be presented on these pages including a lot of new ones that have not been displayed before.

Gunner Logbook	This is the log book from John Thorp. J.Thorp also did some trips on S-Sugar that had not been recorded and credited to S-Sugar.
Identification Needed	Michael and Anne Clothier are looking for information about their Dad.
Anzac Day Photos	A collection of photos from ANZAC Day parades in Brisbane Queensland and from Waddington Air Force Station.
Aircraft	Photos of Lancaster Bombers from various collections and the Squadron's Scrap Book
Standing Orders	All drivers of military vehicles had to abide by the 'Standing Orders' for drivers. Interesting reading when compared with a modern day vehicle.
Pilot's Logbook	Complete scan of Max Johnson's log book showing the training phase, missions, and then instructing others.
Targets	These scans are of some of the targets attacked by 467 and 463 Squadrons.
Nose Art	It was very popular with the crews to decorate the nose of their Lancaster.
Navigator Pages	Navigation is the art of getting from one place to another, safely and efficiently.
People	Photos of various dignataries that visited the Squadrons, Picture of "Bomber Harris" and photos of the maitenance and service wings.
Crews	The purpose of this page is to show some of the Crews dressed for operations, the obvious mateship between the men, and to honour all the crews that took part in various ways. It is impossible to show all the crews so I have made a random selection.
