Mike and Anne relating to their father Alfred Horace Clothier. We
are trying to identify any of the people or places shown in the

Can anyone help out in identifying the squadron and perhaps his
crew? It would mean a lot to us as Dad never talked about his experiences
and when he died in 1989, all we found were these old photos. It
has turned into quite a detective story for our family.

The aircraft depicted is from No. 49 Squadron.
It is possible that Alfred Horace Clothier was posted into
467 at the closing stages of the war. He did not have any
missions on 467 but may have completed a tour on 49 Squadron.
