467 Crest was never given Royal Approval 463 Crest

INTENTION...To maintain an accurate representation of the two Squadrons' histories within the limits of error checking from the ORBs (Operational Records Books).

My name is Peter Johnson, son of Max Johnson, 467 Squadron. This web site started as a school project whilst I was involved as a mature age student at University. I have been involved with computers since 1979 but have never had any formal qualifications relating to computer skills.

This web site has grown to be a very large site and the management of it takes many hours. I have spent more than 3,000 hours just researching, writing, correcting and verifying the information that is here. I have studied many books about Bomber Command and 467/463 Squadrons and have found many conflicting records that have been investigated trying to find what is real and what is not.

Many people have had an input and an influence on the directions of the website. Notable P.J.Novak with color schemes, typing, and proof reading.

Many thanks to Pamela J Novak, Assistant Editor, for the time spent on graphic design, color co-ordination, editing, typing, creating and designing sections of this site.
